PcGive Professional is an interactive econometric modeling package. It provides a wide range of estimation and testing procedures, from elementary least squares to cointegration analysis and simultaneous equations modeling. The main components in PcGive Professional are:

GiveWin the front end where data is loaded, and text and graphics output from the econometric modules is received PcGive for single equation modelling; X12arima for seasonal adjustment and ARIMA modelling; PcFiml for VAR analysis, cointegration and and simultaneous equations modelling, including dynamic forecasting.

PcGive Professional is distributed with books that link the learning of econometric methods and concepts to the outcomes achieved when they are applied. The context-sensitive on-line help system offers help on both the programs and the econometrics, sustaining learning econometrics at one's own speed while sitting at the computer.
