StatMat is an engineering statistics software package that is designed to extract engineering information from large samples of field data through the use of histograms and probability plots, perform comprehensive distribution and inverse distribution calculations, and do linear and curvilinear regressions and interpolations. Supported distributions include: Gaussian, Student T, F Distribution, Chi Square, Gamma, Weibull, Log Normal, Poisson, Binomial, Beta, and Uniform. The statistical concepts used in StatMat have successfully been used to certify jet airliner autoland statistical safety to the FAA and JAA certification authorities. The software is free for 20 days, then the user must purchase a license.
